Who's Out There?

In late July, I downloaded a counter to my blog.  I was just curious how many visitors were stopping by to read my boring drivel about raising children and baking cookies in middle America.  I have become downright astonished to see the counter tick higher and higher almost daily.  Then I begin to wonder...

Who are these people? 

I have a small handful of blogs that I check weekly.  One, I check daily.  Some, I leave comments on.  Others, I read and move on, possibly never returning again.  Once in a while, I'll see a friend and they'll tell me that they read my latest blog post.  But no one, (no one but my mother and a few "anonymous" posters) leaves a comment.

I would love to know who is out there.  I would love to hear some comments from you.  I know it's tempting to remain voyeuristic and just read my blog, possibly chuckle about my most recent catastrophe, and then move on.  But.  I would really like to hear comments from you, on my blog, in the "Comments Section."  Not to be sarcastic, but that's what it's there for after all.

Come on, my friends and strangers and fellow bloggers.  Help me out.  Is there anything you'd like me to blog about?  Is there a cookie recipe you think I should try before my year-long Cookie Journey is over?  Or are you just going to keep sneaking around?...
