This is the view out my kitchen window. It looks like a jar of marshmallow fluff exploded in our backyard! The snow is fun for playing in, but this last storm is almost too much for the kids. Evan even complained over the weekend that it's too deep to play in or sled on. And people tell me I'm hard to please! The kids were sent home early from school last Friday due to the storm that worsened as the day progressed. Today Evan and Jenna are at home again due to a myriad of weather conditions - fog, sub-zero temps, icy/snow covered roads. Owen still had preschool since his school is located in a suburban school district with clear roads. Another storm is on its way and I am guessing this won't be the only day this week that my children are here at home with me. I suppose I should take these lemons I've been handed and make some lemonade, so to speak. The kids don't know it, but they are about to be uprooted from in front of the television and put to work. Okay, I didn't say WHO the lemonade was for, did I?!
