'Tis the month of May and as is typical this time of year, time is spinning out of control. What is it with this month that happens year after year, ever since my children started school?! End-of-the-year music and art programs, class field trips, projects and assignments, celebrations, appointments, practices, games...
The list goes on and on.
This is all you will hear from me this week. I am losing precious sleep right now just to prove I am still alive. How ridiculous is that?!
It wouldn't be so crazy if I could just learn to say 'no!' But then I remember, this is why I am a stay-at-home Mom...so I can say 'yes!' And I know that my kids appreciate it. They like seeing me at school helping out. They like seeing me on the sidelines cheering them on. They like that I know their friends and their teachers. So, it's all worth it and it's why I know that next May will be the same all over again.
And that's okay.
