In A Rut

I've been a bit absent this week. 

I've been a bit busier than usual.

I've suffered a bit of writer's block.

Honestly, I just haven't been in the mood to blog.

We purchased a new computer last week and it was a couple of days that our household was pretty much computer-free.  My daily routines were sent into a tail-spin over it.  I find it ridiculous that I would actually choose to be without my dishwasher over being without the computer.  After all, I can still get the dishes washed without the dishwasher.  I might not like the process and it might take longer, but in the end, the dishes do get washed.  On the other hand, if we don't have our computer, the emails don't get read or responded to and the blogging doesn't happen. 

So now we are up and running, as they say, and I'm dealing with new keyboard issues and buttons are in different places and the screen looks different and my settings are all wrong... 

As eager as I was to replace our old, slow-moving, dinosaur of a computer, at least there was that comfort level...that sense of familiarity.  I'll get used to this one soon enough, but in the meantime, when I sit here and begin a blog post, something just feels off.  I can't put my finger on it. 

Bare with me, friends, as I try to figure this out.  Maybe it's the combination of the new computer, changing of the seasons, cabin fever and the anticipation of an upcoming spring break trip.  Who knows?!  I just can't seem to focus.  For a Type-A like myself, this is pure torture!
