I know this is supposed to be a Wordless Wednesday post but I wanted to let you all know that Owen took this picture about a month ago when he had spent the day with my Mom and Dad. Mom is known for packing picnic lunches and taking any number of grandchildren to the local lake and park for some memory-making, play time and feeding the geese. Mind you, this is the very same location my grandmother used to bring my brothers and me from time to time to go fishing. I've never liked fishing, but I do harbor warm memories of those opportunities when Grandma gave her time and love to us. All children should be so loved.
