Swoosh!

Jenna made her first basket during a game tonight! Yah! Talk about a major confidence booster for my little lady. This was the second game of the season and she was convinced after last week's game that she was the only person who did not score any points. That is, in fact, not true, but, you know how drama and girls very often go hand-in-hand. And to think, she almost didn't make it to tonight's game. Jenna came home early from school yesterday feeling a bit under-the-weather and has been out of it nearly all day long. She insisted she was feeling well enough to go and play in the game tonight. It's quite entertaining to watch 1st and 2nd graders play basketball. All of the double dribbling and travelling alone is worth a chuckle. The most laugh-worthy, however, is when a kid makes a basket and then they just stop, look up in the stands for their parents, and smile. It's like they just want to make sure their Mom and Dad saw it. I am certain Jenna fell asleep with a big smile on her face tonight. Go Jenna!
